New Year Update

Happy New Year from everyone at First Steps!

In the first working day of 2023, we would like to thank everybody who worked with us in the past months and helped us grow and develop. We had a very eventful year, full of new projects, conferences, research and the best clients in the world.

In the past 12 months, we reaffirmed our core values and presented our clients and partners with respect, integrity, transparency and trust. As always, we supported the development of students and young professionals and we sponsored the National Student Space Conference for third year in a row. We launched a dedicated IP service for young businesses and SMEs and developed our services to help charity organisations in more meaningful ways. In the meantime, all of our interns moved on to study at some of the most prestigious universities in the world, inclusing UCLA and McGill.

Half way through the year we re-branded and made our website more accessible, launching a helpful blog with downloadable materials and free guides. We attended and presented at multiple global events, including the International Astronautical Congress in Paris. Once again, we were among the finalists at the National Paralegal Awards and became the only Highly Commended National Paralegal Business. We have renewed our membership with Othership and we’re supporting freelancers and self-employed professionals locally in London. Most recently, we joined Adviserly - a unique network of boutique firms, expanding our reach beyond the borders of the UK.

We’re looking forward to even more adventures in 2023 and some exciting news are coming! We’re in the process of planning services for scale-ups and we’re looking to work closer with investors on the possibilities of establioshinmg S/EIS compliant funds.
